                 OVERCOMING EVIL YOKES THROUGH CHRIST
In Matthew 11:28, the Bible says come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. There is no peace outside of Christ. When God takes away your burdens, you will be free from affliction. When you are under the yoke of the wicked, things become difficult.
The devil likes to put their victims under their captivity so that they will not be able to achieve their purpose. But our God is a yoke breaker; no yoke is difficult for him to break.
In Jeremiah 30:8, for it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck and will burst thy bonds and strangers shall no more serve themselves.
In Galatians 3:13, Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Being made a curse for us, for it is written, curse is everyone that hangeth on a tree.
There are certain effects of yokes; they have the capacity to hinder a person, progress, to take a person’s life and destroy one’s destiny.

An evil yoke is like a stubborn spirit that requires the power of God to break it. You cannot break a yoke through your strength; no, it will only result in vain effort.
A yoke is influenced by the devil to tie down the destiny of a person. A demonic yoke can disgrace a person and make a man nurse a problem for years.
Who experienced yokes in the bible?
1. In Mark 5, a man by the pool of Bethsaida was sick for 38 years; the yoke of long-time sickness disappeared as he had a great encounter with Jesus Christ.
2. In Mark 5, a woman with the issue of blood was afflicted with sickness for 12 years. The good news is that she touched the hem of the garment of Jesus, and she was made whole completely.
3. In Luke 13:11, there was a woman in the bible who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years. She was very weak. When Jesus saw her, he called her and said woman, you are free from your infirmity.
You can see that yoke has the capacity to stay long in a person’s life, to waste his life until the burdens are encountered with the Holy Spirit.
The 10 categories of people God will break their yoke;
1. People whose expectations always fail.
2. People who have overstayed too long in a problem.
3. People who have been having nightmares.
4. People who have been nursing an illness.
5. People who have never celebrated in life.
6. People whose stars are being used somewhere to prosper diabolically.
7. People who are objects of hatred and rejection wherever they appear.
8. People whose foundational problems are reducing their glory daily.
9. People who find it difficult to finish a project.
10. People who are growing older without achievement to show for it.
Isaiah 10:27, and it shall come to pass in that day, that this burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Jesus Christ is the one who breaks the yoke, destroys the stubborn burden and sets the captives free; the anointing is the power of God that breaks the chain of oppression, casts out devils, and secures your victory and deliverance.
Why do people pass through yoke and burdens?

6. Lack of discernment
7. Curses and evil covenant

Yokes are strongholds of the devil designed to embarrass and delay the destiny of people. Those who are experiencing the yoke of darkness in their marriage need the anointing to break their yoke.
When you cry out to God for your deliverance, He will look at the things causing those issues in your life and remove them from you. In Psalm 91:5, he shall call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.
Ways to break the yokes;
1. Surrender your life to Jesus
2. Repent from all known sin
3. Identify your own yokes and break them
4. Be obedient
5. Meditate on scriptures and be prayerful
6. Send the arrows back to the senders
PRAYERS
1. Jesus Christ, the yoke bearer, break my yoke in Jesus’ name
2. Any disturbing yoke in my life, your time is up, scatter by fire in Jesus’ name
3. Any strange yoke holding me down to where I don’t belong, scatter in Jesus’ name
4. Any strongman from my father’s house that has taken something out of my life to bury my virtues, die in Jesus’ name
5. O Lord, take away every agent of sorrow around my life in Jesus’ name
6. Every evil rope tying me to family idol, break in Jesus name
7. Yoke of delay, expire in my life in Jesus name
