Midnight Prayers For Deliverance
David was one man who confronted more dangers and human wickedness than anyone in the Old Testament. He confronted dangers, overcame them, and was delivered and preserved by God. He faced lions, bears, Goliath, the whole of the Philistines, the Amalekites, and Saul, the King of his country, and prevailed.
Thus David escaped the swords and Javelin of Saul many times. Everything was calculated for him to die before his time, but he could not die an untimely death. He fought 66 battles and lost none.
Preservation from God is available for all God’s children but not accessible by everyone. In all these, the Lord assures us of victory. “…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
When we are faced with challenges, we should not despair but cry to God for deliverance, knowing full well that there is no problem He cannot solve. This study highlights David’s distress, prayers for deliverance, conduct in trials and God’s presence and power in challenging times.
Prayer is a mighty spiritual weapon and an indispensable tool for victory. The secret of David’s constant victory in life’s battles was prayer. He prayed at all times and everywhere, even in the cave while trying to hide from Saul.
Believers should borrow a leaf from the prayer life of David. Every challenge we face should be tackled with fervent and persistent prayers. “…Men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1).
“O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle” (Psalm 140:7). The psalmist expresses trust in the Lord even in the midst of trials. Despite the raging storms in his life, his heart was fixed on God and he had strong faith in Him.
He depended upon Him for deliverance in times of distress. “But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute” (Psalm 141 : 8).
Believers should learn to bring their matters before God (1 Peter 5:7). Situations and circumstances create opportunities for believers to demonstrate their confidence in God. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego trusted God for their deliverance at the fiercest hour of their persecution and He saw them through (Daniel 3:16-18,25).

- My glory, come out of the shadow of death, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, anoint my destiny afresh, in the name of Jesus
- Destiny thieves, release my destiny now, in the name of Jesus.
- My destiny, you shall not suffer affliction, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power, derailing my destiny, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every strongman behind repeated problems in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
- I destroy the foundation of weeping and mourning in my life, in the name of Jesus.
Midnight Prayers (12am till your spirit asks you to stop)
Confession Before You Pray:
– 1 Samuel 22:23, Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.
– Micah 5:10-12, And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots: And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds: And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
– Psalm 86:6-7, Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
– Psalm 123:3-4, Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

4. Altar of spirit spouse dragging me to bondage, catch fire and burn to ashes, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every killer disease assigned to destroy me in my problems, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. My soul in the cauldron, receive deliverance and escape by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7. Security men of darkness in charge of my case, sleep and die, in the name of Jesus.
8. Thou power behind rise and fall in my life, my God shall rebuke you, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every dead promotion in my life, receive divine resurrection, in the name of Jesus.
10. Powers assigned to make me commit errors that will disgrace me, die, in the name of Jesus.
11. Powers preparing bad news for me to stop my blessings, run mad and die, in the name of Jesus.
12. Powers planning tribulations for me and my family, O God arise and disappoint them, in the name of Jesus.
13. O Lord, let Your angels begin to blow the trumpet of war against my enemies, in the name of Jesus.
14. Powers sending bad odour against my glory, run mad, in the name of Jesus.
15. Handshake with the spirit of misfortune, be aborted by fire, in the name of Jesus.
16. Powers giving me the problems that will stay long in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
17. My sleeping glory, arise and wake up by fire, in the name of Jesus.
18. Powers hiding my destiny in the grave, lose your power over me, in the name of Jesus.
19. Powers disqualifying me for greatness, long life and success, die, in the name of Jesus.
20. Every evil hand of the wicked tormenting me, wither by fire, in the name of Jesus.
21. Father, let Your mercy bring salvation to me, in the name of Jesus.
22. O Lord, crucify my flesh, today, in the name of Jesus.
23. Every good thing that sin has killed in my life, mercy of God, resurrect it, in the name of Jesus.
24. O Lord, in Your mercy, promote me, in the name of Jesus.
25. Father, help me to forgive those that has hurt me, in the name of Jesus.
26. Holy Spirit revive my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus.
27. Father, if I am on the wrong path of life, redirect me to the right path today, in the name of Jesus.
28. In Your mercy, O Lord, give me my own breakthrough, in the name of Jesus.
29. Father, deliver me from every hidden sin that has made your grace to depat from me , in the name of Jesus.
30. Father, anywhere Your mercy will not see me, I will not go there, in the name of Jesus.
31. Father, let Your grace shine upon my life and save me from condemnation, in the name of Jesus.
32. Father, help me to take the right decision at all times, in the name of Jesus.
33. O Lord, let not the enemy manipulate my love towards You, in the name of Jesus.
34. O God arise and let me have an encounter with You today, in the name of Jesus.
35. O Lord my Father, help me by your grace not to repeat the same sin over again, in the name of Jesus.
36. O Lord, have mercy upon me and cleanse me by the blood of Jesus from the stains and guilt of my sins, in the name of Jesus.
37. My Father, I cry unto you for the forgiveness of my sin, have mercy on me and bring me closer to you, in the name of Jesus.
38. Father because of Your mercy, do not allow the plans of the wicked to succeed in our lives, in the name of Jesus.
39. Father, in Your power, release Your anger upon my oppressors, in the name of Jesus.
40. O Lord, have mercy on me and let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, in the name of Jesus.
