STRATEGY OF MIDNIGHT PRAYER   It has been established that midnight is one of the best time for believers to pray. Prayer in this time can be more active than any other days.  When others sleep at night, the devil came to do damaging. This is one reason why it is important to pray at midnight. Praying at midnight secures your life and destiny.   If you want to invite God into your battles, make use of the weapon in the power of midnight prayers and praise. This combination will unleash terror upon household wickedness and stubborn Pharaoh who have vowed not to let you go or enjoy your life. Beloved, God has given us prayer strategy to win the battle.   The truth is that, the battle you suppose to fight in the night and you fought it in the day, you may not get that victory. And the battle you suppose to fight in the day and you fought it in the night, you may not get results.  The Holy Spirit may either be waiting for you in the day or in the night.   That’s why before you pray, ask God to show you the best time to exert all your energy in the prayer. When you pray at the right time, you will get an answer to your prayers. MIDNIGHT PRAYERS   Midnight is a time people are supposed to be sleeping in their homes under normal circumstances. It is a time of “third watch” in Israel and near East. It is a time believers ought to “watch and pray” because it is also the time the powers of darkness are mostly active. But “midnight” can also mean a time of intense suffering, difficulties and discouragement. Many saints of God like Job, Jeremiah, Elijah, Moses and so on, all went through ‘midnight’ experiences.   Praying at midnight  helps you to be spiritually sensitive, particularly when you are afraid. Know that the spirit of fear is from the devil. The devil does not want you to pray; this should tell you that midnight prayer could lead to the way of your breakthrough. When you learn to pray at midnight, you will be stronger and  the devil in your life will find way to leave you.   In Exodus 17:8-13, when there was a war to be fought between Israel and the Amalekites, Moses went to the mountain top and lifted his hands, while Joshua was below the mountain, fighting. Whenever Moses’ hands were up, the children of Israel would be winning the battle, but when his hands came down, they would start losing. The spiritual controls the physical. WHY YOU NEED TO JOIN THE MIDNIGHT PRAYER SERIES?   Jeremiah 6:5, Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. When? In the middle of the night. In other words, each time night comes; warfare starts in the realm of the spirit.   The good things you have the enemy has destroyed them.  Good health, a prosperous business, a blissful marriage, a happy home, academic success, etc.   God has given you a palace, but the enemy does not want you to live in it.  God has granted your heart desires, but the enemy came at night to scatter. God gave you a good wife or husband, but the enemy manipulate the person at night during his dream to attack or destroy you.   Somebody is trying to favour the next day, but the night before, the enemy show up in your dream to cover you with an evil veil to discourage the person from going ahead to help you. May the Lord terminate all those that are profiting from your blessings secretly, in the name of Jesus.   The power of midnight battle is real. The prayer done at midnight is not meant for lazy Christians but for believers who are ready to say enough is enough of the rage of the wicked in their lives.   In 2 Kings 19:35, And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.   God used this same strategy by launching a surprise attack at night. There is always a “that night” that the enemy chooses, but in this case it was God. That night the Lord sent out an angel to go and kill 185,000 people, He did not do it in the day, but He chose the night to do it. You know what? The devil is a copycat. The angel sent by God was a good angel, but the devil also sends out his angels every night to steal, kill and destroy.   Let us look at the words of Jesus in (Matthew 13:24-25), Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.   Jesus said the enemy came to sow the wrong seed while men were sleeping. This emphasizes the point that the mysteries that come against you during the day are hatched in the night. The day only wakes to manifest what has been done in the night.   Let me give you a simple illustration of what I mean. Somebody is angry with you and he looks at you and says; “you will see” or he says it in another way – “l will show you” and he means to carry out the threat. When he says, “you will see,” nothing happens immediately; this is because it is just a threat at that point in time.   But what he does to bring his word to pass is to take your case to a witch doctor saying to the witch doctor, “this person offended me and I told him that I will deal ruthlessly with him. I want you to help me put a curse on him and cause a specific evil to befall him.”   The witch doctor then takes it up from there; he opens a file for you, puts your name on the file and keeps it in the outgoing basket. At 12 o’clock in the night, he gets up to attack you. You see the reasons why we encourage you to pray at midnight.   Have you noticed that God wakes you up sometimes in the night to pray?
